First, a huge THANK YOU to our election workers! Minidoka County had a 70% voter turn out.
Election day is over, now what? What will we do in the days after the election to keep the Republic?
Join us this evening at 6 pm in the commissioner’s room at the courthouse.
We’ll hear from our commissioners, talk about a Lions Club fundraiser, report on the successful Top Shot event, and work on rules and resolutions for the State GOP winter meeting. We’ll also recognize some local Republicans who’ve put in the work, including a Lifetime Achievement Award for 25 years of service.
We’ll also dig into a bigger question: Idaho’s initiative process was meant for everyday people, so what do we do when out-of-state money shows up calling itself grassroots? Maybe it’s time for some common-sense checks and balances. Come share your thoughts.
