WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO

UPDATE  ·  SPRING 2026

The Lincoln Day Dinner

Our Lincoln Day dinner Celebrating America’s 250th anniversary was exactly what we needed — good food, great conversation, and a room full of people who care deeply about the Mini-Cassia area, Idaho, and America. Whether you’ve been coming to Lincoln Day for years or it was your first time, we hope you left feeling as grateful as we did. It’s a tradition worth keeping, and this year’s event reminded us exactly why.

Scholarship Winners

At the Lincoln Day dinner we were also excited to award our Top Shot scholarships to three outstanding Minidoka County students -Evie Poteet, Cooper Rasmussen, and Jakobie Orton.  Congratulations!

The Candidate Forum

Then came the forum on April 23rd — An opportunity for our community to hear directly from candidates, ask meaningful questions, and engage in the democratic process that defines our republic. Events like this are why local organizing matters, and we’re proud of how it came together.

A huge thank you —

None of this just happens. A lot of people put in real time and effort to make these evenings what they were, and we want to make sure you hear from us directly.

  • Our sponsors — You made it possible, plain and simple. Your generosity goes a long way, and we don’t take it for granted. Thank you for believing in what we’re building here.
  • The Lincoln Day Committee — You put in the work long before anyone else arrived, and it showed. The dinner was a success because of everything you did behind the scenes. Seriously — well done.
  • Everyone who helped at the forum — From setup to keeping things running smoothly, your help made a real difference. These events don’t work without people like you willing to roll up their sleeves.
  • Our community — You came out. You engaged. You made both rooms feel alive. That means everything, and we’re so grateful for the support.

What’s next

We’re heading into the rest of 2026 with a lot of momentum, and there’s important work still ahead. Candidates to support, elections to win, America’s 250th Celebrations, and a community to keep serving. Stay connected, keep showing up, and let’s keep going.

Questions or want to get more involved? Reach out to the committee — we’d love to hear from you. The best events happen when more people are part of making them.
